phpPing is a simple php script, which can check if defined web server are currently up or down. Even more: it can's send packets to this servers and check the ping between the server and the PC, on which is the script running.
The script can be usefull for the network administrator to ping the routers in the local network and to find out if everything in the LAN is allright.
